 Chandigarh: Today the former DGP of Haryana SPS Rathore which is involved in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case was attacked by an object when he was coming out of the Punjab and haryana High Court .
He was rushed to the near-by hospital.
SPS Rathore, who has been charged for allegedly molesting teenager Ruchika Girhotra, a young promising tennis star in 1990s, was punched and stabbed thrice with a knife by a freelance journalist . he has been arrested.He attacked on rathore's face,chin .While Ruchika's friend Aradhana condemned the attack and said people should not take law in their own hands .

Ruchika cse proceedings to be on camera
The Punjab and Haryana High Court areed to hold in-camera proceedings in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case that involves former Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) SPS Rathore. The decision of the court comes after an application moved today by Rathore's wife Abha Rathore in which she pressed for the hearings to be conducted in-camera
No media personnel will be allowed during the trial.
In her plea , Abha Rathore has mentioned that her husband and client SPS Rathore has gone through a lot of harassment , which is affecting his mental state.
